10 Nursing-Friendly Tops Under $20 For Winter

I'm pretty burned out from teach two sewing classes at Pinners Conference (You can see a bunch of pictures in my instagram!). I actually have some finished items to show you, but I just don't have the motivation to do outfit pictures this week. Instead of sharing something I made today, I decided to share some recent finds that are great for fall and winter and are nursing-friendly. I would suggest focusing on your wardrobe colors, so that it'll be easy to mix and match with what you have. Also, pay attention to the styles. If you've never liked tunic lengths, don't buy a tunic. If you don't like button ups, don't waste your money. If you focus on your colors and your style before you purchase, you'll have a much better chance of a successful buy.

TOPS
1. Everyday Dress Shirt - I love henley styles and especially in woven fabrics. The half button placket is easy but subtle nursing access. This shirt is $14.99 and it's made out of rayon. Rayon is one of the best fabrics to wear!
2. Button Shoulder Sweater - This pretty sweater is $19.99 and the crossover would be perfect for nursing access. Especially since the overlay is basically a built-in nursing cover. It's also a mix of rayon, polyester, and spandex, so it's a great blend.
3. Plaid Buttoned Tops - Part of my style is preppy so I love any button up collared shirts. Some of these shirts are half button plackets and some are full button plackets, so you can pick what makes you happy. They are also only $16.99.
4. Cross Over Tunic - This pretty rayon spandex sweater is simple but stunning. It's $9.99 and the waist gathers would be perfect for post-partum tummies.
5. Thermal Henley - I love wearing long sleeve tees all winter and the henley detail bring it up a notch. There are lots of colors to choose from and they are $10.99.
6. Buffalo Plaid Tunic - Not only is buffalo plaid one of my favorite prints, the tunic length makes it a great stand-alone piece. The button up front is perfect for nursing access, and it's $19.99.
LAYERS
7. Open Duster Cardigan - I love long, warm layers when it's cold out. This cardigan can keep you warm and keep you covered while nursing. It's only $13.99 and comes in multiple solid colors.

8. Plaid Poncho - You either love them or you hate them, but you can't deny that it's like wearing a blanket. And it's like wearing a secret nursing cover that's cute! Get it for $16.99.
9. Button Drape Cardi - The drape and asymmetrical hem of this cardigan is great for post-partum tummies. Plus it's basically a built-in nursing cover. A $19.99 win-win!
10. Shoulder Pleat Cardigan - Soft, drapey, and warm and $18.99. This cardigan is a great layer, and great as a nursing cover if you were in a pinch.

  1. The links didn't open for me. I'm on my phone so that could have something to do with it. When I clicked it went to the page but nothing loaded.
