Me Made: Flamingo Tee

Since I wear tees almost every single day (it's what I reach for for comfort and style) it's fitting that I made another one.
I used the Union St Tee pattern (affilliate link) because I love it and it's printed out, ready to go. I made the vneck version, I shortened the sleeves slightly, and curved the front and back hems. I really like the curved hems but for some reason it makes the sides stick out. I've already taken in the sides twice, but I might need to do it again.
I love this flamingo print from My Fabric Designs. I almost got it for one of my girls, but decided to keep it for me. I love the pink against the white. I got it printed on the interlock blend which is a great fabric. It's not as drapey as I would've liked, but it's great for a fitted tee.

  1. Love the top. The cut and fabric are perfect, so quirky and cute. Cheers, Michele

  2. So so so cute! I love the fabric. And I totally agree, while it would have been cute on one of the kids, sometimes adults just need whimsy in their lives!

  3. Ok....hold the phone. YOU GOT FLAMINGO KNIT FABRIC?!!! I think I need that in my life!!! That shirt looks great on you :)

  4. That is such a fun t-shirt!
