Me Made: Crossover Maternity and Nursing Tee

I'm finally sharing my last maternity make (2.5 weeks later!). This is a blush crossover tee that I made by mashing together the Cara maternity tshirt and the Alissa maternity top. You can find the crossover tee tutorial over at DIY maternity. As much as I loved my handmade maternity wardrobe this past pregnancy, I'm happy to be done. Which is actually different than my other pregnancies; I wanted those to last forever because I wasn't ready for the newborn stage. This time I couldn't wait for the newborn stage and to not be pregnant anymore.
I used a pretty cotton spandex fabric in a nice light pink. I also used some hem tape on the shirt hems and around the neckline to help protect against stretching out. I'm glad I added it because the neckline has held up really well.
The first days after coming home from the hospital I rotated between this crossover tee and my striped crossover tunic. They were so comfortable and so easy to nurse in when you're nursing so much at the beginning. I even wore the tunic home from the hospital!
