You Flew: A Sewing Linkup and March Sponsors

First, I want to say thank you to this month's sponsors: Girl Charlee, Sammy Dress, and My Next Style.

I have some bad news. Apparently, my free account with inlinkz has ended, (I didn't even know I had a time limit!) so I'm sorry to say You Flew: A Sewing Linkup is coming to an end. You might hate me for being so cheap, but I'm not willing to pay a monthly fee for it. If you know of another great free link up tool, let me know and I'll look into it.
I would still love to feature some links from last month though! The link with the most hits was the blazer refashion by Carissa Knits
Leather Heart Pockets Tutorial by Dandelion Drift
Fabric Bows Tutorial by Sisters, Sisters
PR&P Signature Style by The Crazy Tailor
Burrito Cuff Tutorial by The Inspired Wren

  1. Aw, I'm sad to see it come to an end, but I completely understand trying to keep a blog a free/cheap endeavor. Rest assured, you're not losing this reader because of it. You keep sewing, and we'll keep reading! And I'm honored to have been featured in the finale!

  2. Of course we don't hate you! I had no idea that the link tools came at a cost to the host. I'm appreciative for having been able to join in with many previous link parties! Thank you!

  3. You could have a friend sign up for a free year, and co-host it. Lol! It's a lot off work, not sure I'd mess with it myself:) thanks for hosting a great party, I'll be here all the time with or without it!

  4. I will miss the sewing link-up but its completely understandable. Its less polished, but would it be possible for people to just post links in the comments? (Talking as a non-blogging newbie here)

  6. Hey Heather, I like Amy's idea - I haven't done a linky party before so I don't know exactly how it works but it is something I wanted to add to my blog. I don't have that many readers yet, however, so it would be a sad little party if I did it alone, but if you co-host then it could be fun! I don't mind setting up the account and doing whatever is involved in creating the link party each week and then giving you the code to co-host. What do you think? Emily

  7. Since I've read this post, I've been thinking about possible co-hosting too. I'm so very brand new (so I didn't expect any opportunity like this until sometime next year). I don't know if you'd want to, but I'd also be willing to go in on a multi-blog link-hop! I'm sad to see any all-sewing link-party go away.
