Moose Family Christmas Pajamas

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday!
I decided to make some simple Christmas pajamas to open Christmas Eve. I think it's a tradition I want my little family to have, but who knows if I'll make them every year! Anyway, I fell in love with Girl Charlee's moose fabric and ordered only one yard to make pajamas for Henry, my husband, and myself.
For Henry and my husband I wanted to make something that could be worn not only as pajamas. For Henry I made a basic green sweatshirt and stenciled a big moose head on it. Then I made some simple moose leggings.
For my husband I used a basic tan and black striped knit fabric I had in my stash and blocked in some moose fabric on the shoulder.
For me I wanted a nursing and maternity friendly nightgown. I used some heathered tan knit as the base and added moose sleeves. I added an elastic to the neckline so that it can be pulled down for nursing access. I also added some elastic under the bust to give it a little definition.

I had intentions of sewing pajamas for the family, and only finished 1.75 of 4. Oops.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  6. Adorable jammies, great job! I invited my niece over tomorrow. She and my daughter both got patterns and fabric to make their own warm, flannel jammies. I'm excited to teach them. Wish me luck and sanity!
