You Flew: A Sewing Linkup - 16

Henry has now learned how to climb on my sewing desk chair. He likes to open and close the bobbin area and slide the machine's speed from rabbit to turtle. I usually find out when I'm sewing and can't figure out why my machine is sewing so slowly! Do your kids or pets get into your sewing stuff?

I have never seen this trick used to finish a neckline but Threading My Way teaches how to add bias binding to a dress. It makes it easy to add a fun pop of color!
The Beating Hearth has a fantastic tutorial to make a Mitered Baby Blanket. I love this look and will probably use this technique next time I make a baby blanket!

  2. the other day, I did quite a bit of stitching before I realised my son had slid the bar and drasticly lengthened my stitches! He also likes to slide between turtle and rabbit while I'm sewing :)
