Pacman Knee Pad Pants For Baby Tutorial

This was a late-night spur of the moment idea. I wanted to add some knee pads to Henry's pants because he's crawling everywhere and we only have tile in our apartment. I thought it would be nice to give him some extra padding, so that is how the fantastically geeky Pacman Knee Pad Pants were formed.

1. Find or make a pair a pants.

2. Cut out Pacman shapes. I cut mine out of some faux leather.

3. Stitch them onto the knees of the pants.

That's it! It's a super easy way to dress up some simple pants. I added some dots on the right leg just like the dots Pacman eats in the game.

 

Henry was super interested in them when I put the pants on him for the first time. He tried to take the pads off.

Then I took him outside to try them out. At first he just looked around. Henry is also wearing his button-up shirt onesie made from a man's shirt.

And then he was off.
