Today I stopped at a thrift store and looked at the baby clothes. After sorting through, I found a couple of great items. I was so excited to come home and show my husband. I showed him this teal-ish onesie and said, "Isn't this so cute?" He replied, "For a girl." What? Now I turn it over to you. Can a boy wear this color?
Wouldn't it look great with some dark gray velvety houndstooth overalls? (Another great find of today.)

I think a little boy would look so adorable in that! It's sooo not just a girl colour!
ReplyDeleteA boy can absolutely wear that colour! I'd have more doubts about a girl, really. Put a baby in an even remotely blue-ish colour and people automatically assume: boy.
ReplyDeleteThat outfit is supercute!
my mom and I both agree it's boy worthy.
ReplyDeleteIt could go either way. Boy or girl. It just depends on what you put with it, that will make it look more boy or girl. A puffer vest, and jeans would make it look really boy. A little sweater and jeans would make it look really girly.
ReplyDeleteCute outfit either way!
I have a shirt that color. Totally boy!
ReplyDeleteYes! It's cute for both, but accessories say a lot. Skirt = girl. Those overalls are soooo handsome, definitely boy worthy.
ReplyDeleteNot that a girl couldn't wear them! I just realized how sexist that sounded. But I meant without a skirt, it could go either way.
ReplyDeleteI love that! For a boy OR a girl.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you go thrifting at?
I really want to find some cute baby clothes that aren't ones every single other baby has!
A boy could prolly wear it ... maybe. Overalls are cool if you make him look like a train engineer. With a hat and a little smear of grease.
ReplyDeleteit is totally both you could always throw on a car or dinosaur if it really bothers your DH
ReplyDeleteHe can wear it, it's blue!
ReplyDeleteI think both! I would pop Chloe is that in a second but this is coming from a gal that shops boy clothes for her little girl ;) Unless it is like "Daddy's boy" or "Mommy's Little Girl" I think most things are pretty neutral (flowers or "gender" prints excluded.

I absolutely love it. Especially the overalls. The only baby clothing I have ever bought at the thrift store are overalls. So friggin cute.
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! I think it can go either way it's just a popular apparel color for girls right now. But with obviously boy pants overalls etc. I see no reason why he can't be bright and adorable in it :) My son has clothes this color I thrifted. It's my favorite color so I tend to pick up more of it. He also has legging style pants in a larger hounds tooth pattern that used to be girls leggings but no one has said anything about him being girly :) I've actually gotten compliments from other little boys mother's when he wears them out.
