Henry's Owl Quilt

My aunt is a very talented quilter. For the first child of each niece or nephew she makes a quilt. For Henry she made an owl quilt. Isn't it gorgeous? I love all the colors. Quilting is so fascinating and impressive. One day I'd like to try it. Maybe for my grandchildren.
I'm going to hang it above his crib once I figure out how to hang it on cinderblock. It'll tie in all the colors of his nursery perfectly.
Can't you see that Henry loves it? I kept trying to catch a smile, and this is the closest I got.
He's sitting on the branch with his owl friend.
A special thanks to my aunt! This was a lot of work for her, but I know I'll cherish forever.

  2. What a gorgeous quilt! My grandma is a quilter, and I just love having family quilts. She makes a wedding quilt for each grandchild, and she was amazing to do the "Double wedding ring" pattern for me. I love the colors!
