Feathers Flights // Sewing Blog: Stuffed Pumpkin

Stuffed Pumpkin

Happy October! This weekend I finished my first Autumn decoration. It's a stuffed pumpkin! Isn't it cute? I used this tutorial. It's really easy! I think I made it in an hour or less. The longest part was hand sewing on the stem.
I'm quite happy with it. I found the beautiful striped fabric with shiny stripes and Joann's. I used red yarn from this project to wrap the pumpkin.
I had the brown corduroy fabric leftover from this jacket that I used for the stem.
I took pictures at my parents house because I was there for the weekend, but I might take some more at my apartment once some of my other Autumn decor is up.
This is the bottom. Not very pretty but oh well!

  1. Wow, that is SO amazing! Really? In less than an hour?? It's so cute!

  2. That is so cute! If I come across some cute orange fabric, maybe I'll make one. :)
