First Swimsuit DONE and Second Swimsuit Choice

First Swimsuit: I love this swimsuit! Especially the fabric. It was very useful to make one basic one to be able to understand what I was doing but now I feel confident to make any swimsuit. It was so fun! I love it because it fits me so well! Don't you ever feel like you're pulling on your swimsuit somewhere to feel like you're covered up? And it's a little scary running around in your swimsuit because you might not stay covered? Mostly you just sit on your towel and then hurriedly get into the pool where it's safe and people can't see if your swimsuit is edging up? Well in this swimsuit, I would feel comfortable playing beach volleyball because I would never come uncovered. It's perfect.I love making swimsuits and after I finish the second one, I have ideas for two more.

Second Swimsuit:
A mix between this top (made into a one-piece) and the ruffles on this. I'm adding the ruffles to make the top a little more modest. I think I might add some little ruffles to the leg opening like this picture below to match the ruffles on the top part of the suit. Is that cute or little girlish?

  1. I do love the fabric! What a pretty pattern! I would love to see what else you come up with.

  2. Wow... I can't believe you made that!!! You look absolutely fantastic! I love the print!

clothed much, a modest fashion blog

  3. Looks great! I think the 2nd one will be great, too. I'm thinking little girlish on the leg ruffles, but you never know. You always seem to pull of new looks!

  4. I love your suit! I've been researching and trying to figure out how I want to make my first swimsuit. What pattern did you use?

  5. can you do a tutorial on how you made the swisuit?

    1. I used the Kwik Sew's Swim & Action Wear which is a book and pattern, and I think it's the best teacher.
