Feathers Flights // Sewing Blog: Beach Shirt

Beach Shirt

In high school there was a casual dance with a beach theme. So I designed a beach shirt for myself. I chose a light blue shirt so it could double as the sky and the ocean. I used acrylic and spray paint. The sand is spray paint so that it looks really sparse. A palm tree and sun are the main designs on the front. The fronds of the palm tree are on my shoulder and even curve over to the other side. There is a blue line that goes from the sand to the other side acting as the horizon and below that there are small waves scattered around.
